“Striving vs Striding”

Since I began posting content for the sake of spreading the Gospel, I’ve struggled with the difference between being zealous, on fire, and consistent vs trying to run up numbers and garner as much attention as possible “in the name of The Gospel”.

I never had or have a desire to have some huge platform to preach, or be on display (to an extent), so when I post it’s out of simple obedience. This issue comes in when it’s time to play the “Social Media Algorithm” game. “You gotta post multiple times a day”, “don’t forget your hashtags so you can reach as many people as possible”..am I doing all of this in the name of doing His Will, or is this just something man created and say it’s to “push” the Word? Serious question. Does it take all of that?

If it’s to reach a wider audience, cool..but if it’s His desire for it to reach a certain person(s) isn’t His word powerful enough to carry across a field of 1’s & 0’s on its own..or is this just a medium for us to use to our full advantage? When Jesus’ message wasn’t accepted by His own people He didn’t preach more frequently, He simply changed the location & audience He taught.

What would that look like in a digital space?? Just my late night random thoughts/conversations with The Holy Spirit..”Holy Hastags” soon to follow 😅…
