I’m Ant Scott — a Christian Hip-Hop producer, sample historian, creator of the GodSouL (R) sound and movement. I am also co-founder of 1522, an audio production movement built on obedience to God and excellence in sound.
My journey didn’t start with clicks and claps — it started with a call: to create music that glorifies God, reflects the richness of our music culture, and leads others closer to the Truth. Every beat I build is rooted in decades of music history, biblical inspiration, and a heart like David’s — aiming to merge holy intention with hip-hop innovation.
For years, I’ve been digging through dusty records, gospel choirs, funk breaks, jazz classics, and sacred sounds — all to create something that hits hard and heals. My signature strength is sampling: not just flipping old sounds, but giving them new life in a way that honors their legacy and fits the mission.
Now, I help other Kingdom creatives do the same — through custom beats, curated sample packs, artist development with 1522, and resources that align your creativity with your calling.

A Little Background History:
The love of music was born in me. As it grew, I realized there was more to the “sound“ of music. I had questions, I wanted answers. The more I learned, the more I knew it was meant to be a part of me, and my life’s mission wouldn’t be complete without it.
Some things you pick up and sometimes it’s simply your predestined purpose. This is the purpose I was created to fulfill, my calling, and my assignment from Him. There was no escaping it. At one point, I thought I was too old and the dream was too far gone. That’s when God stepped in and put me back in place.
With no objections, I'm here now, doing what I love and letting God lead the rest of the way.

About GodSouL Music
In the rebirth and rededication of his life to Christ, God called Ant.Scott to create a safe place for other artists and creatives, especially those feeling lost and overlooked, when they were really chosen and set apart to represent and reflect God on this earth. GodSouL is not only a growing record label, but more importantly, it's the sound.
"Growing up in the 90s, my music preference and influence was heavy in Hip-Hop & R&B. Teddy Riley, Sean “Puffy” Combs, Rodney Jerkins, & J.Dilla were producers whose sounds and creativity I admired and truly made me want to contribute to music as they had.
I also had a love for God, the church, and serving a greater purpose for Him in the Earth. For the longest, it seemed as if you could only choose one or the other, and anything in the church that sounded too close to “what the world was doing” (secular) was either shunned or sounded like a poor imitation of what was “hot” in Urban at the moment. Just as Neo Soul found a way to create a lane for themselves amongst R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop, I had a vision of creating a similar lane for people who had a God-given passion to create music without being confined by legalistic religion or being forced to settle for whatever was the current trend or wave... a unique sound of its own with all the bounce and soul, without rigidity or conformity."
